Hello. I'm back, finally. Star stable was getting pretty boring for me so I stopped playing, deleted all of the posts off of my Instagram and stopped posting on my blog. Anyway, so it seems, I'll be here for good :) Now, onto today's topic: Riding horses in quests. This may seem stupid, but trust me, it's not. When I did the new Nightdust and Madison quests, I saw that you were able to ride Nightdust. This was awesome for me, for some reason. It was something I've been wanting from day one. To be able to ride a horse in a quest that is not your own. This was literally amazing. The cool thing was, though, Nightdust wasn't completely in your control. He still bucked as he wasn't fully in the right state of mind. So, this disrupted the quest, and gave me a bit more challenge than with the usual quests. I took a LOT of screenshots during this questline. So, overall I enjoyed this questline. I wasn't able to fully go through it all on this blog but it's a start.
I'll try to post something tomorrow. That one Star Stable player, -Dusky

Okay. I'll get straight to the point here. As this week's update, SSO HQ Released some more running pets. That's right. Now it's squirrels, not dogs. Hnngh. We don't need ANY MORE PETS. We already got free running squirrels on SSO's birthday, and now we have to pay for another? I'm genuinely quite concerned for the future of Star Stable right now. Like, seriously. It was JoJo Siwa and now it's this?! Most people were hoping for more lusitano colours, like myself. (I physically need the black one), but no, instead we got squirrels. The SSO team have been releasing lots of small updates recently, so hopefully this means we'll get some new story quests. I really, really hope so. Will we be able to visit Pandoria again?!
-That one Star Stable player, Dusky I rush outside with Shep at my heels and my hands dug into my pockets. I sit down on a bench and pull the photo out. I look at it longingly, and my mind flashes to my Grandpa's farm. It was in Goldenhills Valley, a lot better than Jorvik City. There were no horses here. Only pigeons. I stuff the photo back into my pocket and my grip tightens on Shep's lead. We walk to the nearby park, and I let him sniff around for a bit. I go to look at the noticeboard, and out of the corner of my eye, I can see a ripped piece of paper advertising horse riding lessons. It's in the only stable that's reasonably close to the flat, and I study it for a bit. Shep whines and shakes off the rainwater from his pelt. I smile and we go home.
"Take your shoes off dearie!" Says Mary as soon as I walk in the door. I shrug and do as she says. I can see Jones and Kester sitting at the table, my foster siblings. A big mug of hot cocoa greets me, and I slurp it up gratefully. Jones looks at his mother and sweetly says; "Mum, when are we going to go horse riding?" My mind jolts and I sit up slightly. Mary looks at the calendar and flicks through it. "Why, tomorrow dearie." She says, returning to her mug of coffee. Before anyone can say anything, I dart upstairs and wait for tomorrow to come. Now. This was a short bit of the story, but I don't know if anyone would actually want to read it, so I'm kinda doing it in snippits and scheduling them for later days. Tell me what you think :) Hallo. This is a story I'd like to write, but I'm not sure if I should. Here's a bite-size piece of it.
Almost as soon as I wake up, I hear the loud shouts of my foster parents from downstairs, "Anna! Time to wake up!" Shouts Mary. I groggily rub my eyes, put my glasses on and swing my legs over the side of the bed. The loud sounds of beeping cars and the pitter-patter can be heard from outside. I pull a jumper and some jeans on and make my way down the stairs. Shep, my dog, gets up from underneath the table and wags his tail frantically. I scratch him behind his ear and sit down to a bowl of cornflakes and some hot tea. Scrummy. I dig a spoon in and Mary joins Peter in reading the paper. Out of the corner of my eye, I can see the edge of a photo sticking out of the metal bin. I whisper to Shep, 'Fetch!' and he grabs it inconspicuously. We're good at not being spotted, we're secret agents, and have been since I spotted him at our local animal rescue center when I was about 5. I open up the crumpled piece of paper and my jaw drops when I see what it's of. It's my old donkey, the one I used to own at my Grandfather's farm. Before I was taken away. Before all the screams and fits. Before the panic attacks. I had been searching for this photo for months. And here it was. I stuff it in my pocket, finish my cornflakes, murmur something about taking Shep for a walk and hurry out the door. Okay. Let's get straight to it. First of all, I think this chat filter is stupid. One of my club members got banned for saying: "Excuse me, where can I put my horse?" In a roleplay. Second of all, the bans are extreme. You can't talk for 10 days for saying that you want to ride your horse. On a horse game. It's just ridiculous. It makes people quit, or at the least not be active at all. People say I'm being petty, because 'Star Stable work hard don't be rude!' (Honestly most people who say this stuff are the people who have the JoJo Siwa hairstyle) but honestly I'm not. I paid 50 quid to be a lifetime star rider and I kinda expect better for that amount of money. Seriously. I do.
Now, I know I shouldn't moan in my second post (It kinda sets off a bad impression, don't ya think?), but I felt this was a serious issue I should address. That one star stable player, Dusky |
